In the wake of last year’s successful original release, aspiring Spanish DJ Danny Avila looks to extend the shelf life of his debut single ‘Breaking Your Fall’ with a four-track remix package courtesy of two acts from each side of the pond.

Swapping the original’s bright synth lines for pulsing beats and raw energy throughout, dBerrie, Mikael Weermets, Lucky Date and Sick Individuals are on hand to lay down four hard-hitting numbers of the synth-laden original mix.

Off the back of two releases on Tiësto’s Musical Freedom Records, Swedish DJ and producer Mikael Weermets returns to make his debut on Gareth Emery’s Garuda label with hard-hitting new single ‘Make Some Noise.’

Having perplexed the genre boundaries between Progressive House and grinding Electro with his last original, ‘I Found You,’ ‘Make Some Noise’s spree of melodic progressions and stubborn distorted drops make for a potent first release of the New Year for the fast-ascending Swede.

Fast approaching the fold of a year that has given rise to the voice of Australia’s Georgi Kay, round two of Promised Land’s ‘Emotions’ receives a firm European overhaul of remix duties for Atlantic offshoot Big Beat.

Given a surge of delicate melodic builds and fuzzing Electro leads, Musical Freedom’s own Mikael Weermets matches his Swedish peer John Dahlback’s offering with a bold display sharp keys and ferocious synth work, leaving Italian duo Master Mood to bring typically low-end Electro hallmarks and dotted samples to the original. Leaning towards the realms of peak time club fuel that has characterized the summer clubbing season throughout, this Swede heavy package successfully shows the more heavyset potential behind Kay’s unmistakable vocal stylings.

Hot on the heels from unveiling his new remix of Promise Land and Georgi Kay’s ‘Emotions’, Musical Freedom-approved Mikael Weermets comes out with a mashup-heavy, new episode of his ”Sound Of Now” mix series.

Launching with a stern transition from his aesthetic opening sequence to the Deniz Koyu remix of Zedd and Matthew Koma’s ‘Spectrum‘, Weermets leaps from dose to dose of modern club fuel with the seamless energy that has fuelled his own studio exploits. Working in a choice selection of his own well crafted bootlegs and edits for good measure, his latest one hour mix features the likes of Nicky Romero’s chart-topping ‘Iron‘, the Daddy’s Groove ‘re-beats’ of ‘Fire Like This‘, Spencer & Hill’s ‘1234‘ and more.

Tracklist:

Coming off the highly supported ‘Miami 305 Mix’, Promise Land and Georgi Kay’s ‘Emotions’ returns for round two with the unreleased original mix and a slew of remixes from John Dahlback, Mikael Weermets and Master Mood.

While John Dahlback’s paint by numbers approach to Dance music leads to a bass-heavy leading remix from the Swedish heavyweight, Musical Freedom-approved Mikael Weermets fuses soothing piano play and gritty leads for something of a signature take on the Promise Land original. Diving deeper into the realms of Electro House, Italy duo Master Mood bring their heavy-hitting sound alongside Kay’s graceful top line before rounding things off with Promise Land’s own, synth-laden original mix.

Out November 6th on Big Beat Records.
