Like an outstanding hybrid with all the major and minor ingredients for a fulfilled Summer floorfiller comes this tremendous output from Australian bred Mind Electric. The Vicious producer famed for 2011’s glorious early-bird Wild Out and Louder alongside The Cut has fully exploded onto the Aussie House scene lately, fuelled by his recurring instalments on Vicious as well as a remix for Laidback Luke’s Mixmash Records and I’m A Freak by Micky Slim. Another powerful tune is now arriving Beatport’s Summer outlet from down-under with an outright array of trumpets, tipped by a rhythmically warped blow of beats. His new remix of Boy Lost’s Itza Trumpet Thing is now out on Scoundrel Records.

Mixmash Records presents us the next release to headline their corner, courtesy of UK-based Micky Slim. Along with a couple of mixes comes I’m A Freak – a chunky beach banger crossing path with a crisp setting of sounds. Following up releases like Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano’s We Are, the U&I and Next To Us EP by GTA as well as Laidback Luke’s punchy Natural Disaster single, which is now awaiting the release of a vocal version, Slim uncovers his contender for the throne of Laidback Luke’s established record label. The package also consists of mixes from Gina Turner, whose name is well-known after having collaborated with Luke himself on the Nouveau Yorican project, and Mind Electric, the Vicious Recordings artist whom just release the new Louder single.
