First officially premiered in episode 171 of Sander Van Doorn’s Identity radio show, Nari & Milani re-unite with Maurizio Gubellini to unleash the follow-up to last year’s ‘Up’ in ‘Vago’ for Spinnin’ Records.

Jumping between anthemic synth work, their iconic, minimalistic drops and attitude-filled vocals from Nicci, ‘Vago’ marks a continuation of the spree of high-energy productions from a trio who have not conformed to the more typical European mindset in the process of exploding on a universal level.

Commemorating the 500th release of Cr2 Records, R3hab, Nari & Milani and MYNC combine forces for their essential Miami contender of the year in the aptly titled ‘#MIAMIBACKAGAIN’. Known for their efforts in the department of ‘big room’ Dance music, their first collaborative production hits something of a middle-ground between their respective signature sounds. Flowing seamlessly from subtle melodic developments into a drum-driven romp of clubworthy carnage, the Pete Tong-approved ‘#MIAMIBACKAGAIN’ continues the trend of triple-threat collaborations with stadium-ready stamina.

Italy may have been stereotyped with a fairly particular export of House music, but Maurizio Nari and Ronnie Milani certainly haven’t let this impede on their solid reign of Progressive poignancy. Back on Steve Angello’s Size Records after the success of ‘Atom‘ to raise the bar for the New Year, Nari & Milani unveil it’s very follow-up, entitled ‘Patriots.’

In the same vein as both of their previous releases for the label, ‘Patriots’ showcases that distinct blend of precisely layered synth work and minimalistic, low-end drops that we have come to associate with Nari & Milani. Always leading with quality over quantity, ‘Patriots’ fails to disappoint and is a reassuring indicator that Italy’s sharpest duo is still at large for 2013.

Out in 2013 on Size Records.

An official video upload on Nari & Milani’s YouTube channel, confirming that this is ‘Patriots’:

Having forged their names as radio personalities, Nari & Milani’s 16-years of collaborative service has established them as an integral mechanism within European Dance Music, penning such anthems as Destination Calabria alongside Alex Guadino and their debut Size outing Kendo in the process.

But first premiered at Ultra Music Festival’s Brazilian venture last Decemeber, the duos Size Records follow-up ‘Atom’ revitalises the hysteria behind these formative producers. From its precisely layered assault of epic synth leads to that insatiable low-end assault of distant low-end riffage, Nari & Milani’s minimalistic drop into concisely grinding Electro House grooves is a stand out speck on the map for a duo who have not conformed to the atypical European mindset in the process of exploding on a universal level.

Still at large on the global airwaves and collecting the finest talents from across the board, Mark Brown made for yet another positive instalment of the Cr2 Live and Direct Radio show. Scaling the likes of label-mate Nilson all the way through to Joris Voorn’s beloved cut of Lana Del Rey’s ‘Video Games’, episode 052 catered for a wide range of tastes amid the shows undisputable surge in popularity. MYNC’s own big room mix called upon Third Party and Cicada’s ‘Feel’ while further drawing on the enigmatic ‘Trio’ from Arty, Matisse and Sadko.

We chose the Swedish House Mafia’s instantly uprising anthem ‘Greyhound’ to kick off our weekly segment, while Tube & Berger’s 100% Pure escapade ‘Soulgood’ joined the Tommy Trash remix of ‘Wicked Woman’ amid our picks of the week.

Ahead of their upcoming Size Records release ‘Atom’, Italian Progressive House duo Nari & Milani took the reigns for this weeks guest mix. Ploughing through an array of their own sterling studio outings and utilising heavy-set remixes from Hard Rock Sofa and Felix Cartal, their ability to bring such mammoth offerings from Kaskade and John Dahlback into the equation for this impressive insight into their collaborative live presence.

Returning from their superb debut on Size Records in mid June, a taste of Maurizio Nari and Ronnie Milani’s, better known as just Nari & Milani, upcoming second release on the record imprint of Steve Angello has surfaced after seeing its premiere revelation during Swedish House Mafia’s set at Ultra Music Festival in Brazil on Saturday. Reminiscent of its diverse hybrid of a predecessor, Atom also contains powerful, high-pitched synth lines to precede a throbbing drop. Unfolding their well-known predilection to widespread dynamics along the lines of anthemic synth-filled leads in conjunction with large bass drops, their fresh Size signing indicates that the duo has a lot left to give.

‘Atom’ is set to release on April 9th via Size Records.

Since the release of Nari & Milani’s fluctuating Kendo single in mid June, a huge anticipation and question mark on the rumoured edit on behalf of Size’s label head, Steve Angello himself, was initiated. The rumour has been confirmed and out from camp Size goes the edited version as a sponaneous give-away.

Making his first hit in late 2003 when House music was yet to face its modern day audience, Steve Angello is one successful producer. Not only is he responsible for such classics as the remix of Moby’s Raining Down, Teasing Mr. Charlie and Be, but was one fifth of the partition’s in what may be regarded as one of the essential break-through anthem’s of progressive house music – Leave The World Behind. Following on to officially form the highly-acclaimed Swedish House Mafia trio, releasing One and Miami 2 Ibiza, Angello had not only succeeded in becoming an incredible pioneer for Swedish EDM export, but built up an outright record label and established a family of his own when many thought the limits of eminence was reached.

Following up last year’s storming releases of Knas, the remix on The Island and Monday to name a few, 2011 was kicked off with the Pete Tong-praised Open Your Eyes, which recently was chosen to feature as one of the soundtracks in Fifa 12, to then proceed in a major Size take-over with a consistent hit single outlet, unearthed and delievered by Angello himself. Editing The Moment in early April and firing away Save The World as part of the Swedish tripod, the winds continue to switch in favour of our fellow Steve Angello as he generously enough hands out his sublime and sought-after edit of Kendo, in which acid sounds meet highly pitched big room synths.

Going from a big room synth lead to the pounding sounds of acid, Nari & Milani’s Kendo single has been an absolute killer weapon in sets the past couple of months, championed by the Swedish House Mafia among others. Representing Steve Angello’s prestigious Size Records, the Italian duo has made names for themselves with several hits alongside Christian Marchi under their belt, including last year’s Summer vibes of I Got You. Their sublime sound has become their trademark which is now approaching camp Size with a festival version from Xaver included in the package. Following releases of unstoppable anthem’s from Third PartyDavid Tort and Tim Mason, Kendo is a new anthem to fall into place in the discography of Size Records.
