With various installments on Cr2, Size, Spinnin and Ministry Of Sound, not to mention his game-changing At Night and Forever contributions to Defected’s prestigious back catalogue in 2010, Paul Ridney’s ascent to the reputation of one of England’s most promising exports within traditional House music was probably as much of an expectation for the Southampton resident as it was for clubland. Coming off a funky rework for the legendary American that is Frankie Knuckles, Ridney, with an excellent remix on the latest single from Ghosts Of Venice onboard, makes way for a debut on GrooveTraxx, the record label of Leonardus and Le Babar.
