Having each ascended to the ranks of melodic House maestro on their own unique merits, the unveiling of Dirty South and Alesso’s hotly tipped debut collaboration has been a long time coming. But off the back of the Swede’s Beatport topping single ‘Years’, Alessandro Lindblad joins the renowned flag bearer of Phazing Records for a third shot at vocal Dance supremacy for 2012 and a second appearance of Dirty South’s side-project Ruben Haze alongside Rudy.

First premiered by both Alesso and Dirty South at Creamfields Australia, this cross-nation collaboration looks to set the standard of chart savvy peak timers to an all time high alongside renowned top liner Rudy. With anthemic instrumental builds and an angelic vocal lead at ready, the union of these two industry heavyweights sees a firm display of rigid synth work and powerful beats match the beautiful ascending melodies that make ‘City of Dreams’ an instantly infectious outing.

‘City Of Dreams’ will be released August 27 on Phazing Records.

When Australia’s hottest House export is joined by Sweden’s most hotly tipped newcomer, the outcome was never going to be mediocre. But with a wealth of positivity surrounding the Dance music industry’s universal union, Swedish new wave warrior Alesso and longstanding Aussie Dirty South unite for an emotive Summer contender. Having couped up in a studio down-under a few weeks back, Dirty South recently confirmed via Twitter that the Creamfields-premiered new vocal gem is officially entitled ‘City Of Dreams’. Digressing from the heavier-set realms of Electronic Dance Music, ‘City Of Dreams’ showcases a solid concoction of heartwarming chords and romantic vocal stylings for their quite possibly most emotive work to date.

It is no secret that Henrik B has established himself as something of a beacon for Swedish House music’s promising new school contenders. Armed with robust keys, well executed builds and a haunting vocal line from Rudy, the contemporary Swede producer hits a middle ground in global House music that defies the tedium of his chart-raking peers while still playing out as universally attainable to both the club floor and radio alike.

But calling upon Dutch daredevils NO_ID for remix duties, ‘Leave A Light On’ is given an essential injection of the Axtone duos hard-hitting musical stamina from the outset. Drawing on the originals anthemic vocal line and building a canvas of solid synth work around its emotive tones, their remix transitions from piercing keys to aggressive chords with impressive technical substance. Their remodel, though invariably close to their securely established sound, is enough to place them at the heart of their genre while establishing a firm ground for the Dutch duo not only to claim their diversity amid their hometown peers, but to soar to unprecedented levels amid a European onslaught within Electronic music.

In the same vein as his own workings of Adrian Lux’s ‘Teenage Crime’, Berntsson establishes himself as a stronghold for emotively charged club music with that vital punch of vivacity that the club floor beckons. Having been inaugurated in the good books with his seminal remix for Adrian Lux’s ‘Teenage Crime’ for Axtone, the return of dignified Swedish House tune smith Henrik B alongside Rudy, the voice behind ‘In The Air’ was always going to touch upon positive anticipation amid his canvas of unpretentious Progressive House. But calling upon Dutch daredevils NO_ID to take on remix duties, ‘Leave A Light On’ is given an essential injection of the Axtone duos hard-hitting musical stamina from the outset. Drawing on the originals anthemic vocal line and building a canvas of solid synth work around its emotive tones, their remix transitions from piercing keys to aggressive chords with impressive technical substance.

Rife with the effervescent energy of their latest single for Diffused, ‘How R U Feeling Right Now’, their remodel is enough to place them at the heart of their genre while establishing a firm ground for the Dutch duo not only to claim their diversity amid their hometown peers, but to soar to unprecedented levels. Already boasting spots at Axwell’s Cosmic Opera alongside Deniz Koyu and further outings with the illustrious Swede set for Miami Music Week, their general sense momentum is perfectly encapsulated in this standout remix of a truly sound calibre.

It is no secret that Henrik B has established himself as something of a beacon for Swedish House music’s promising new school contenders. Already a favourite at the likes of Axtone and Musical Freedom, Henrik Berntsson is channelling the positive space surrounding himself and his Swedish peers into some of the scenes most well-endowed House anthems to date, mustering loud and positive support across the globe in the process.
