Having collaborated alongside Avicii, Afrojack and The Shapeshifters among others, the Shermanology outfit presents us a taster of their new solo project named Living For The City. They have screened their outstanding skill of mastering productions in numerous electronic dance music territories and are now preparing a major take-over with their newest offering. Starred as essential pieces of the manufacturing of such successful tunes as Blessed by Avicii, Afrojack’s Grindin and Waiting For You from The Shapeshifters, the Dutch trio has come up with an absolute killer of a solo production. Despite this only being a sneak peek of the track, I’m confident we’re going to be seeing quite a lot of that setting of pounding drums and the vibrant voice of Ms. Dorothy Sherman in near future. As premiered in Pete Tong’s Essential Selection on BBC Radio 1 in early March, another top notch offering from Afrojack is emerging from his very own Wall Recordings. The 24 year old that has become a firm headliner of Dutch house in no time joins forces with his fellow compatriots of the DJ, production and vocalist outfit Shermanology, the trio most recently renowned for starring as the vocalists behind Avicii’s massive Blessed hit, to present a catchy crossover of dirty, tech and Dutch named Grindin. Following releases like Prutataaa and with a forthcoming Moguai remix of Bangduck coming up, Grindin is another peerless contender from the Spinnin group.

The well-known Nick van de Wall, mostly known for his alias – Afrojack teams up alongside Shermanology to produce a feel-good mix between the punchy sounds of Dutch house and the chunky beats of tech. It’s called Grindin and had its world premiere spin on Pete Tong’s latest Essential Selection reaching two million listeners. It’s due to be released on a June 27th through his very imprint Wall Recordings.

Not only has he Jailbait and Snus set on the horizon, the long-awaited Blessed can now finally be added to that list as well! The original is made by Tom Hangs, which is an old alias for Avicii himself, featuring an amazing vocal from the Dutch siblings, Shermanology.
