In the wake of last year’s successful original release, aspiring Spanish DJ Danny Avila looks to extend the shelf life of his debut single ‘Breaking Your Fall’ with a four-track remix package courtesy of two acts from each side of the pond.

Swapping the original’s bright synth lines for pulsing beats and raw energy throughout, dBerrie, Mikael Weermets, Lucky Date and Sick Individuals are on hand to lay down four hard-hitting numbers of the synth-laden original mix.

Out today on Beatport.

In the wake of the radio-friendly original release off of EMI/Virgin, Dimitri Vangelis and Wyman’s ‘Pieces Of Light‘ alongside Jonny Rose gets the remix treatment from an unexpected assortment of producers from across the globe.

First to bat for the remix package, fast-ascending Dutch duo Sick Individuals take the lead with a remix of the increasingly popular dotted Electro House. In a similar vein as their remix of ‘Dancin Dancin,’ Australian pair Denzal Park build a grinding canvas of strong lead work with a melodic twist, leaving it to Miami producer Henrix to round out the remix package with a minimalistic, festival-friendly take.

With the groundbreaking Size Matters Augmented Reallity App on the way, the recent launch of Size Records’ new website brought us not only further insight on the updated artist roster of Steve Angello’s rising record imprint, but a free give-away of an unreleased remix of Qulinez‘ debut single on the label – ‘Troll‘. Conjuring support from arguably the hottest trio in the game with it’s premiere play by the Swedish House Mafia at this year’s Masquerade Motel in Miami, Dutch duo Sick Individuals‘ take preserves the high-pitched synth original while replacing the unorthodox drop with a heavy dose of acid-house, providing further testament to Angello’s affinity for the Roland TB-303 synthesizer. Despite being eclipsed by the mighty original, it’s refreshing to hear a different version of one of 2012’s hottest contenders thus far.

A Dutch duo is blisteringly exploding onto the scene with a handful well-shaped remixes in play. Remixing Nicky Romero’s acid-influenced Growl earlier this year, Sickindividuals are testing the limits on Lisbon-based funky foursome Nu Soul Family and their ambitious vocals for It’s Whatever You Want. Ray and Jim of Sickindividuals are truly screening their outright potential as producers of the Spinnin group, adding a dash of that recurring bouncy drums of the new generation of Holland’s House scene along with the stupendous lead melody, incorporated as the peak-time instrumentals of the thrilling breakdown.
