In a fond extension of talent from outside of the stateside comfort zone, Montreal’s rising peak timers Paris & Simo return to Revealed Recordings for round two with ‘Nova’. Having already touched base with Hardwell’s reputable imprint with ‘Monk’ back in 2011 and secured remix duties for Tiësto’s ‘Work Hard Play Hard’, the duos notable surge of industrious enthusiasm pervades their latest studio offering.

Rich in synth-led opulence and brandishing that amalgamative energy that has continued to unite the club floor and the larger European festivals throughout 2012, the Canadian duo make a mark of quality with a track that may lack in overall originality, but excels on the merits of invigorating energy.

As the year of 2011 draws to an end and building excitement and anticipation for what’s to go down over the next 12 months, Torondo based Mark Mendes combines forces with fellow Montreal duo Paris & Simo for 2011’s last release from Starter Records. And as the track title would suggest, this collaborative effort from three talented Canadians showcases a graceful charisma in its summerish synth filled lead and a certain powerfulness in its complementary bottom layers that, combined, make for Aura to be an optimal emittance of euphoria. Although things were left quite uncertain in terms of Mendes’ release of Telos and the take on Someone Like You with Thomas Gold earlier this Fall, the Starter Records label head wanders a tad out of his ”techy” comfort zone to team up with the Canada duo known by their recent appearances on Musical Freedom and Revealed for the six minutes of pure progressive house bliss that are Aura and to finish the year off in glamour.

Going victorious out of the recent remix competition for Tiësto’s Work Hard, Play Hard single, Paris FZ and Simo T are officially making their debut under the wings of Musical Freedom Records. The pair who recently installed themselves on Hardwell’s Revealed label with the dynamic Monk remix the rolling characteristics and the poppy vocals from Interscope vocalist Kay into a hammering record of limitless proportions. Adding dominant, thick and sturdy beats to progress in unison with the rather unique voice of Kay, the winning remix on one of the most recent singles out from the powerhouse that is Tiësto has undoubtedly proven itself qualitative enough to fortify a release on the prestigious Musical Freedom label. Also containing a playful and frisky break-down progression, a new remix joins previous takes on Change The World and Stupidisco on the shelves of this aspiring Canada duo.
