As the trend of triple-threat collaborations continues to engulf Dance music, Dutch producers Yves V, Loopers and Jacob Van Hage unite for a new release on Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s Smash The House imprint.

Brushed with a distinct set of grinding chord progressions, ‘Amok’ sees the Dutch trio employ sharp synth work and aggressively charged, dotted Electro House. While it’s apex may fall on the militant approach and melodic manipulation, Yves V, Loopers and Jacob Van Hage ditch the tedium for a whacky yet persuasive release that is sure to earn them a few stripes for the New Year.

Out today on Beatport.

Taking some time out from his collaborative affair with countrymen Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Belgium-based Tomorrowland resident Yves V unites with Felguk to aid the Brazilian duo’s inauguration to Smash The House with ‘WOW’.

Building on the positive vibes still surrounding the duo’s landmark release of ‘Bassive‘, ‘WOW’ is made up of high-pitched synths and wobble-induced Electro House eerily similar to that of last year’s Felguk gem. But where it may lack in overall originality, it makes up for in solid production values and indisputable festival proof energy.

‘WOW’ is out September 24 on Smash The House.

Having upped the ante for Belgium’s part in the global Dance explosion considerably throughout 2012, Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and Regi’s ‘Momentum’ receives a long overdue slew of remixes from two of the globe’s most promising contenders.

With successive releases for Axtone and Stealth Records already behind him, fast rising Frenchman Michael Calfan looks to extend the shelf life of his Belgian peers Miami Music Week favourite. With uplifting chord progressions and suspenseful builds of energy at hand in signature Calfan style, his emotive yet overtly unoriginal take adds a fresh dimension of softer yet melodically refined club fuel to ‘Momentum’.

Armed with an array of high-pitched synth work and dramatic Electro builds, New York residing Clockwork makes by far the most effective mark on the track. Mixing chugging chord play and mechanical beats into the equation, this heavyset remix extends the energy behind his own rising alias and the early 2012 favourite alike to notable new heights.

With all signs pointing to an unstoppable ascent for Belgian brotherly duo Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, the aftermath of this year’s Tomorrowland festival sees them joined by Benelux peer Yves V for ‘Aftermath’. Charged with a solid backbone of peak time energy, the Benelux trio warm up the bass machines to bring their festival proof resonance to the final leg of the summer festival season with a heavy-footed new release for Smash The House.

Built with the bigger festival speakers close to mind, the burly low-end surges and churning rhythmic builds make for one of the most pervasive yet minimalistic peak timers of the season. Leaping from subtle swells to surges of standalone lead play, the Tomorrowland residents prove that less can still be all the more powerful on the 21st century dance floor with this triumphant low-end club cut.

‘Aftermath’ will be out soon on Smash The House.

In a bid to extend the shelf life of Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and Regi’s ‘Momentum’, Axtone-approved Frenchman Michael Calfan is on hand to don his signature sound the Belgian trio’s Miami Music Week contender. Enhancing his diverse hold on melodic play alongside the usual suspenseful rises of a Calfan-branded gem, the mixture of sharp keys and anthemic synth work makes for yet another signature addition to his belt. As emotive as it is apt for the summer season, this latest endeavour marks a firm continuation of the well-groomed club cuts we have come to associate with the Parisian responsible for ‘Resurrection‘ and remix duties for the likes of David Guetta alike.

Set to be released on August 27 via Smash The House.

Doubling up on the Dutch pride with considerable force, Amsterdam’s Jordy van Egmond, better known as Dyro, and Rotterdam’s Jacob Van Hage unite for a sizeable offering for Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s Smash The House imprint. While chugging Electro riffs may have been on the widespread agenda for a while now, the considerable attitude of their valiant low-end canvas of screeching leads and robotically refined melodics is reassuringly unfamiliar and provisionally impressive. Invariably playing out in the same vein as a grouchy Daft Punk might have, their finely-tuned collaboration marks a promising extension of their nation’s prominent yet often predictable hold upon European Dance Music.

Through various international exploits and their own Spinnin sub-label Smash The House, Belgian duo Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike have proven to be anything but passing assets to European Dance Music. Already associated with two-years worth of Tomorrowland anthems and back-to-back universally acclaimed bangers across the board, their positive momentum within the industry is indisputable. Dealing in the same positivity as their extensive catalogue of Progressive House bombs, their latest collaboration alongside Regi for Smash The House deals in uplifting rises and intense melodics breakthroughs that mark a swift transition from the icy gaze of winter to the warm resonance of the European festival season. It may seem miles away, but such welcoming aural teases as ‘Momentum’ are sure to make the wait that little bit less depressing.
