A staple in his sets over the past several months, Tiësto releases his sought-after remix duties for Showtek and Noisecontrollers’ recently released collaborative effort for Owsla Records, ‘Get Loose’. Bringing the tempo down from 140 to more common electro house territory, Tiësto’s remix keeps much of the original’s cataclysmic drops and high-octane synth play intact while adding a sizeable proportion of the stadium-proof magic now associated with the Dutch heavyweight.

Maybe it was something in the water, but even the kids are giving its fair share of veterans a run for their money. Returning to Spinnin’ Records, Dutch youngsters Martin Garrix and TV Noise combine forces for ‘Just Some Loops’. Turning their heads for the heavier side of dance music yet again, ‘Just Some Loops’ sees the trio showcase a mixture of wobbly electro house and melodic interludes.

Between the collaborative outing ‘Reason’ alongside Nervo and his ceaseless touring exploits, 2012 was a whirlwind year for Australia’s Anthony Maniscalco. But never one to bow at times of universal attention, Hook N Sling ups the ante for his inaugural release of 2013, ‘Don’t You Know’.

Showcasing a thick skinned array of grinding beats while embracing the melodic stylings we all know and love about Hook N Sling, ‘Don’t You Know’ comes soaked in that unmistakable Hook N Sling charm that has established Maniscalco as something of a beacon to the dance movement down-under.

First officially premiered in episode 171 of Sander Van Doorn’s Identity radio show, Nari & Milani re-unite with Maurizio Gubellini to unleash the follow-up to last year’s ‘Up’ in ‘Vago’ for Spinnin’ Records.

Jumping between anthemic synth work, their iconic, minimalistic drops and attitude-filled vocals from Nicci, ‘Vago’ marks a continuation of the spree of high-energy productions from a trio who have not conformed to the more typical European mindset in the process of exploding on a universal level.

Keeping with the tradition of showing a new side of his sound with each release, Turkish producer Ummet Ozcan has once again hit the nail on the head with ‘Here & Now’. With ‘The Code’ and ‘The Box’ still doing the rounds, ‘Here & Now’ sees Ozcan up his game with a track that follows in the refreshing festival stylings of said single releases. Showcasing a minimalistic sound scope of booming bass and glitchy, standalone lead play, ‘Here & Now’ is as thoroughly impressive as it is indicative of the true potential of high-octance dance music done right.
