Since ditching his Clashback moniker, Rene Pais has made affirmative progression under the guise of Syn Cole. Already boasting tracks for Diffused Music and Armada Music under the guise of his former alias, the Estonian up-and-comer marks a fresh chapter of his impending musical legacy with new original track ‘April’.

Following up on his remix for Avicii’s ‘Silhouettes‘, Syn Cole’s initial launch into ‘April’ is one of anthemic builds, comfortably placing it amid the realms of 2012’s influx of modern Progressive House. Rich in melodic play and his peak-time consistency, there is something distinct about ‘April’ and the heights attained by Pais’ knack for taking the familiar and making it his own.

The Main and Progressive mixes of ‘April’ are today on Beatport.

Back in true Syn Cole fashion, Estonian producer Rene Pais unveils a brand-new original track called ‘Miami 82′, as recently debuted in episode 9 of Avicii’s Levels podcast.

Emphasizing his diverse hold on melodic play alongside the usual suspenseful rises of a Syn Cole-branded production, ‘Miami 82′ showcases a distinctive mix of sharp keys and anthemic synth work. Packed with the experimental melodic patterns that have characterised his outside-of-the-box approach to modern club gems, ‘Miami 82′ marks a continuation of the peak-time energy and well-crafted club cuts we have come to associate with Estonia’s undisputed leader of the new school.

Update: Out January 31st.

In the wake of the long overdue official release of the original off LE7ELS Recordings, Avicii’s ‘Silhouettes‘ gets the remix treatment from an unexpected assortment of producers from across the globe.

First to bat for the remix package, newly signed LE7ELS protégé Syn Cole, formerly known as Clashback, takes the lead with a Creamfields-dedicated remix of high-pitched synth lines and sturdy kicks. But where the aforementioned Estonian builds upon the Swede’s familiar synth stylings, Swiss producer EDX and Vancouver’s Lazy Rich bring persistent misshapen chord play and bass-heavy beat work into the equation to round off the package with two heavier-set remodels.
