Returning to the original production front after last year’s ‘Talladega’ and ‘Fast Lane’ for Moveltraxx, Dortmund duo Tagteam Terror preview their first release of 2013 amid the hustle and bustle of Ultra Music Festival in the form of a two-track EP for Moonbootique.

In spite of their relatively new school stripes, ‘You Only’ and ‘Kimble’ see the duo embrace the groove-driven energy of heyday House music with a strong new age twist. Ornamented with wailing samples and melodic developments, nostalgia and forward thinking club music come hand-in-hand for Tagteam Terror’s latest solo endeavors.

When the history books of Electronic music are written, Germany’s influence on House music is sure to be widely featured factor. Well aware of the need to push things forward, Dortmund duo Tagteam Terror make their mark on Moveltraxx latest free compilation with a lick of old school floor fundamentalism for the modern market.

With previous remix duties for The Bloody Beetroots, Kissy Sell Out and Todd Terry, not to mention an early spot on the Beatport Nu Disco top 50, their ability to juggle vintage House and Techno influences has seen them positively shine throughout 2012. Embracing the groove-driven energy of House music, ‘Fast Lane’ comes rife with wailing samples and melodic developments throughout.

German House outfit Tagteam Terror, better known as just TTT, takes on Swedish protagonist of French electronica Jonas Rathsman to add some oomph to his acclaimed ‘Tobago’ single. Built around the haunting rerunning vocal samples, the German duo swap the vintage instrumental of the original for an upbeat House remodel of infectious proportions. In hopes of further cleansing the scene with strong emotional value and essential rhythmic energy, Tagteam Terror’s take on ‘Tobago’ marks yet another refreshing escape from the peak time overhaul that has ensued throughout the year.
