It has been something of a landmark year for Aussie Electro producer Tommy Trash. But on the back of his debut single for Refune alongside Sebastian Ingrosso ‘Reload’, Tommy ticks off yet another of the infamous Swedish imprints with a blistering debut for Axtone.

Premiered by Axwell at Ushuaia Ibiza for Pete Tong’s Radio One Ibiza special, Tommy injects fellow Aussie club duo the Aston Shuffle’s ‘Won’t Get Lost’ with his own club hallmarks. Dealing in a strong yet melodic surge of mechanical leads and strong Electro beats, ‘Sunrise’ marks the perfect middle ground between Tommy’s sturdy productions and Axtone’s knack for tough yet uplifting releases.

While Australia may not quite boast the wide-spread credentials of it’s European peers where Electronic music is concerned, it’s talent pool has certainly spread throughout 2012. But despite entering their winter period, Aussie House mongers The Aston Shuffle amend the significant delay in the release of their official remix package for ‘Won’t Get Lost’ on Plant Music with a formative remodel from fellow countrymen 96 Bulls.

Already renowned for their gleaming underground credentials and forward-thinking remixes, the duos fatal concoction of jackin beats and vintage synth work makes for an uplifting take on The Aston Shuffle’s more subtle House stylings. But with proficient melodic grandeur from this overlooked Aussie powerhouse, 96 Bulls reign impressively poised on the creeping Australian Electronic scene with yet another sterling example of quality production over extensive marketing.
