Famed ‘Million Voices’ remixer Jonas Törn, best known as TORN, makes his long overdue return to remix the title track from Jamie N Commons’ recent ‘Rumble and Sway’ EP. While the original was a song that combined elements from soul, jazz and delta blues, TORN’s remix sees the Swedish producer depart from the wobbly electro house we have come to associate with TORN, showcasing a grainy display of glitch hop that maintains the jazzy, vintage vibe of the Jamie N Commons original.

More info on the release as we get it.

Given the ease to which Scooter found means to desecrate Otto Knows’ ‘Million Voices‘, its remix duties were always going to be met with a hint of scrutiny. But facing this outright hit single for 2012 like a man possessed, 24-year-old Swede Jonas Torn steps up to the mark for the one-and-only formal remix of following his take on Lilla Sällskapet’s ‘Jag Vill Ut‘.

Armed with the same, distorted Electro stylings as his heavily supported single ‘Boss‘, Torn takes the Otto Knows original through the motions of subtle builds and grinding drops. Utilising the acclaimed vocal work of the original with discordant lead play and mechanic cadence, ‘Million Voices’ is given an extended shelf life courtesy of this fresh coat of paint from a man well on his way to a global breakthrough.

Amid a fine year of club to chart crossovers, Swedish pop outfit Lilla Sällskapet join the ranks of their club rooted nation with an assorted remix package cut from across the Dance music spectrum for ‘Jag Vill Ut’.

In spite of the single’s Swedish topline, master of the multidexterous House movement John Dahlbäck follows up his latest single for Phazing and an ensuing collaboration with Chris Lake with an all-inclusive approach to this Scandinavian pop endeavor. Fuelled by the pervading melodic builds and consistent energy that Dahlbäck has perfected over the years, it is Avicii-approved Boss-producer Turn’s Electro orientated stylings that take the duos emotive original to a heavyset high of subtle builds and grinding drops. More indicative of the genres multilingual force than the vast majority of its predecessors, these two remixes do not let language get in the way of their festival proof energy.
