Still riding on the remnants of his highly-successful debut studio album ‘Clarity’, Germany’s Anton Zaslavski, professionally known as Zedd, makes a long overdue return to the remix circuit with his take on the first single from Empire Of The Sun’s upcoming album, joining M4SONIC on the official remix package for ‘Alive’. Utilizing the original track’s standout vocal assets, the German producer injects a thorough dose of persistent misshapen and bleepy chord play to the equation.
Slated for release May 21st.
In the aftermath of releasing the remix package for ‘Clarity’, German genre-bender Anton Zaslavski, better known as Zedd, returns to unveil his new original track alongside aspiring Swedish singer/songwriter Miriam Bryant titled ‘Push Play’.
As premiered at Debaser in Stockholm, Sweden last Sunday, Zedd utilizes Bryant’s crooning vocals to the fullest, swapping the guitar rumbles and rolling drums of Bryant’s original version of ‘Push Play‘ for euphoric synth work and acid-esque segments.
Update: The production is still a work in progress and any release info has not been announced.
Four months down the line from the acclaimed release of his debut artist album “Clarity”, genre-defying German Zedd comes out with the first package of remixes for the album’s title track, featuring Tiësto, Style Of Eye, Brillz and a Union Mix.
While Tiësto and Style Of Eye’s high-octane approach to Dance music lead to two festival-ready remixes of the Zedd original, Anton Zaslavski’s own Union Mix provides a testament to Zedd’s musical wizardry on a completely different level, employing beautiful string work, light piano play and crispy drums for an orchestral interpretation. With part two on course for February the 18th, Los Angeles producer Brillz wraps up the first collection of official ‘Clarity’ remixes with some bleep-happy Trap.
Out today on iTunes.
Still hot off the heels of his acclaimed debut full-length ‘Clarity’, German Electro-pusher Zedd unleashes the sought-after acapella of the album’s recent title-track as a free download. Acquired courtesy of the vocal talents of aspiring British songstress Louisa Rose Allen, A.K.A. Foxes, the release of this strong and uplifting topline is sure to inspire a consistent slew of remodels for one of the many outright triumphs to emerge from this European landmark in Electronic Dance Music.

As far as Dance breakthroughs are concerned, few have come in the same demand as Germany’s Anton Zaslavski. But under the guise of his renowned studio alias Zedd, the aftermath of his debut full-length, ‘Clarity‘, sees him joined by Lucky Date and Ellie Goulding to treat us with the full version of one of his album’s heavier-set tracks, ‘Fall Into The Sky’. Mixing slow synths, angelic vocals à la Ellie Goulding and hard-hitting drops, the unique contrast sets ‘Fall Into The Sky’ apart from the hordes of Electro-savvy post-summer contenders with consistent stamina.
Slamming the door on genre defiancy and ripping the Beatport charts a new one at every possible turn, Zedd’s ascent has been anything but quiet. But in the wake of first album single and Beatport #1 ‘Spectrum‘ alongside Matthew Koma, Anton Zaslavski makes a glorious return to release his debut artist album “Clarity” for Interscope Records.
While 2012 has spelt nothing but promise for the thriving Dance music scene, October 2nd sees the Germany-bred producer hit home a highly potent 10-track collection of diverse properties. With a sound scope ranging from the melodic bliss of ‘Hourglass’ and ‘Follow You Down’ right through to the heavier realms of ‘Epos’ and ‘Codec’ and a slightly remodeled version of ‘Shave It’, “Clarity” ditches the straight up Progressive and Electro now synonymous with Dance music to collect one of the most fluid and multifarious full-length albums to have touched Electronic music in a long time. Boasting a vocalist roster that could make Kaskade jealous, Zedd’s wholehearted take on the spectrum of Electronic music for the masses indicates that among the times of industrious evolution and mainstream accumulation, Dance music with creative soul still exists.

With a wealth of positivity surrounding the Dance music industry’s universal union and taken from the freshly released “Spectrum EP,”, hotly tipped Dutchman Nicky Romero joins forces with genre-defying German Zedd for cross-nation effort ‘Human’.
Having both successively ridden the vast explosion of global Dance music with plenty to show for it, Romero and Anton Zaslavski take something of an outside-of-the-box approach to proceedings, coming up with one of their most unorthodox cuts to date. Rife with crisp, churning chord play, soothing breakdowns and a somewhat enchanting female vocal courtesy of LIZ, the month of July looks to end with little to no comprimise on integrity as far as the the young duo is concerned, wetting the appetite in anticipation of a string of long-awaited gems of theirs in the process.
Door slamming and shotgun firing in mind, the ascent of German Electro mogul Zedd has been anything but quiet. But in the wake of his essential vocal outing alongside Mathew Koma, ‘Spectrum’ receives a high profile remix package from the assorted cream of the modern Dance music crop.
While Armin Van Buuren’s paint by numbers approach to Trance leads to a positive leading remix from unfathomable Dutch club icon, Anjunabeats favorite Arty fuses the euphoria of Trance alongside the potent synth-led energy of Progressive House for a strong and original take on the Zedd original.
More commercially associated with his collaborative Duck Sauce side-project alongside Armand Van Helden, Montreal’s A-Trak unites with Dim Mak Favorite Clockwork for a score of distorted chord play and dissected remnants of Koma’s outstanding top line for by far the most inventive remix of the package.
Still hot off the wings of his debut single for Refune ‘Bong’, Germany’s Deniz Koyu offers a dark and heavyset take on the original, leaving room for Gregori Klosman & Tristan Garner and Congorock turn to the festival proof realms of Electro House for their own melodic yet piercing takes on Zedd’s handy work.
While his Refune Records debut ‘Bong’ remains a crucial summer selector amid the summer clubbing season, the MTV approved German Deniz Koyu breaks the silence with a remix for the Electro stylings of his homeland peer Zedd’s ‘Spectrum’ to join an already accomplished collection of official remodels. Preserving the poignant vocal work of Matthew Koma alongside a selection of hallmarks from Anton Zaslavski’s original offering, the dark and heavyset studio stylings of Koyu reign ultimately satisfying in yet another firm extension of this chart-raking Electro outing. With forthcoming remix duties for Miike Snow and a new original alongside Wynter Gordon set to drop in August, Koyu’s reign upon universal Dance music looks set to extend throughout the months to come.
